FASHIONDIG'S New Look: Bigger and Bolder Vintage Fashion Website Relaunches in a New Dynamic Format

FASHIONDIG announces the re-launch of fashiondig.com the vintage fashion website originally launched in January 2000. The website targets vintage fashion enthusiasts with a stylish mix of commerce, content and community.

The centerpiece of the site is a shopping area stocked with items posted by vendors who open shops on the site. "It was necessary to redesign FASHIONDIG in order to accommodate the increased demand from vintage fashion dealers who wanted to join our high-profile site," says Janet Pytowski, FASHIONDIG Co-Founder. The new site provides a comprehensive E-commerce environment for a limitless number of individual shops. Vendors maintain their own online inventory and can post an unlimited number of items for sale. The new design and technology includes a database customized for vintage fashion shoppers which enables visitors to search for specific items by individual shop, keyword, decade, designer, category, look and price. Barry Bryant, FASHIONDIG President says "We are especially excited about My FASHIONDIG, a feature which will allow visitors to save their favorite items and searches, thus providing a customized and highly personal shopping experience."

The relaunch of the site also introduces two new fashion categories…Vintage-Inspired for new items with a retro-look and Designer Resale for contemporary, upscale designer pieces. FASHIONDIG has a history of selling high-end vintage clothes and accessories from designers such as Emilio Pucci, Paco Rabanne, Pauline Trigere, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci and Rudi Gernreich. "We realize that today's finest designs are tomorrow's collectibles, so we opened Designer Resale to offer an edited collection of new and gently-worn contemporary designer items" says Pytowski. "FASHIONDIG shoppers appreciate the interesting mix of vintage and contemporary pieces in their wardrobe and our new site will offer them a generous selection of both."
